Being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. -Philippians 2:8That amazes me, Jesus was obedient even to the point of a slow painful death on a tree. Beside the physical pain, he willingly became a curse for us and bore all our sin. He wasn't forced to die, he willingly and obediently did it. It just boggles my mind..... how could someone so holy and perfect, willingly become a curse and die for someone so wretched and sinful.
Galatians 3:13- "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us - for it is written, cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree." The King of Kings became cursed for us, and he did so without a single complaint.
