Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis has given me a much more clear view of the Christian basics than ever before; chunks of wisdom are written all through this book. It has become one of my all time favorites. I recommend it to you, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Culture Shift by Dr. Albert Mohler Jr. In this book Mohler talks about the issues of today with a biblical perspective. Its goal is to equip Christians for standing up and speaking out. It is totally a must read.

I really need to read Culture Shift. I wanted to get it I just haven't bought it yet. Been very busy lately.
RYC: I am not really particular about the type of work right now. I live in a small/medium sized town and jobs are not abundant. The state of the economy does not help either.

Mere Christianity is another book I want to read in the very near future.
I am also reading a book (an allegory) called Mister World and Miss Church-Member. I started yesterday, I'm now halfway done, and I think it's also going on my list of favourites when I'm done.
I've seen Mere Christianity on our shelf, but never thought twice about it. I should definitely check it out.
