Most of the fictional books I read are historical fiction, so I don't know if those technically count. Three of my favorite authors of that genre are George Alfred Henty, Robert Michael Ballantyne, and Douglas Bond. I also like the "Chronicles of Narnia" series by C.S. Lewis, the "Lord of the Rings" series by J.R.R. Tolkien, the "Father Brown" series by G.K. Chesterton, and the "Sherlock Holmes" series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Caleb-

My family and I are seeing tomorrow evening! My sister made a Lucy dress with my Gramma! She is wearing it to the movie and my brother is wearing a "Peter outfit".

Narnia, the Lord of the Rings. I also like books by Kathy Tyers ( Firebird) and Karen Hancock (The Legends of the Guardian King). They are pretty good allegories. I also like Francine Rivers' books. And Randy Alcorn's books...Deadline, etc.
(And I'm trying to make my list short.) =P

The Gate Seldom Found was a good one although it's based on a true story, it was in the fiction section in our local library. I didn't agree with everything but overall it was an amazing book.

I like Lord of the Rings, the Inheritance Cycle, Warriors Srs. (Erin Hunter), Left Behind, The Kids. I like a lot more, but for some reason I can't remember their names!

Hi,
This is really Becca's sister just so you know.
I am reading a Book called 'Beyond the Summerland' It is the first book in a fantasy series called "The Binding of the Blade" by L.B. Graham. and I am really liking it. I am not far into it yet,(p250) but my friend who have read it said it has a really good end,
I think she said second to 'The Last Battle' which is very good indeed!
also the 'Dragons in our Midst' series is very good as well.

Most Ted Dekker books, especially Showdown and the Circle Trilogy, the Chronicles of Narnia and the Wally McDoogle books. I was just wondering Adian (or whoever else may have read the books) don't the Dragons in our Midst books include a bit of a reincarnation type thing with who the dragons are and such?
