Favorite non-fiction books

What are your favorite non-fiction books? please comment and tell me.

Here are my favorites:
"Holy Bible" by God,
"Do Hard Things" by Alex and Brett Harris,
"What Jesus Demands from the World" by John Piper,
"Quest for Character" by John MacArther,
and "Christ our Mediator" by C.J.Mahaney.

The first one that comes to mind is 'In the Presence of My Enemies' by Gracia Burnham. That's a good book!

The Bible,
Do Hard Things,
Jesus in Blue Jeans,(by Laurie Beth Jones,)

I guess I need to read some more. (Most of my fav. books are fiction.)

I have heard a lot of good things about John Piper, and C. J. Mahaney, but I'm not so familiar with John MacArthur. What else has he written? :-)

"The Power of Prayer in a Believer's Life" by C.H. Spurgeon

"My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers

"Valley of Vision"

"The Passion of Jesus Christ" by John Piper

We use to go to John MacArther's church in Cal. We are going to return there for a visit this sunday. I really enjoyed: the "Jesus Freaks" books by Dc Talk, "Do Hard Things" by Alex and Brett Harris, and of course the "Bible".

Respectables Sins- Mr. (Jerry) Bridges

Growing Up Christian- Mr. (Karl) Graustein

The Gospel and Personal Evangelism- I actually have only read the fist couple of chapters but, so far it is a excellent book! It is by, Mr. (Mark) Dever

Girl Talk- Mrs. (Carolyn) Mahaney and Mrs. (Nicole) Whitaker

Three of my favorite non-fiction books that have not yet been mentioned are Heaven by Randy Alcorn, The Slumber of Christianity by Ted Dekker, and Humility: True Greatness by C.J. Mahaney.

The Bible, Do Hard Things, God Called a Girl (Shannon Kubiak), aside from biographies of men and women of faith, such as Eric Liddell, Amy Carmichael, Hudson Taylor...
...and that's all I can think of right now. :P
